Ostrava is changing. More internationals, more students, more families
from different corners of the world are calling this city home. But does
diversity automatically mean connection? Not always.
On April 22, speakers from different backgrounds will sit down together
to talk honestly about what it is really like to live in Ostrava as an
international. Where connections happen naturally, what still gets in
the way, and what the city could do better.
The conversation will cover workplaces, schools, cultural initiatives
and everyday life. The audience gets to jump in too.
This event is part of the build-up to AfrOstrava Festival 2026.
